Delicious Chuck Roast with Salsa

Ingredients List
- 1 2 1/2 lb chuck or 7-bone roast
- 1 ts vegetable oil
- 1 cn (7 oz) Ortega chili salsa
- 1 ts brown sugar
- 1/2 ts garlic powder
- 1 ts salt
- 1. Heat oil in a Dutch oven or large, flameproof casserole. Brown meat on
- all sides on medium high heat.
- 2. Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl. pour over meat. Cover pan,
- reduce heat to low and simmer 2-1/2 to3 hours. Check roast after 2 hours.
- If more liquid is needed, add a little water or wine.

1 lg Angel food cake
1 c Sweet milk
30 lg Marshmallows
1 lg Can crushed pineapple
1 pt Cream; whipped
1 Bag frozen coconut
Crumble cake in a 9"x13"x2" pan. Heat milk and marshmallows until latter is
melted. Pour over cake. Spoon pineapple over the top. Spread whipped cream
and top with coconut. Refrigerate. Cut into squares.
