Deliciously EASY Toffee

 Ingredients List

  • 1lb. of frozen butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cold water
  • one bag of milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of almonds


First crush your almonds and cover your pan with them.

Next put all of the ingredients listed above into a heavy duty cookware. I used a stainless steel sauté pan. And it works well with a wooden spoon. Which I recommend.

Turn the stove on high and begin to stir continuously. It will begin to bubble.

As it bubbles it will begin to turn a light brown color. Continue stirring until it is the color of a brown paper bag. Remove the pan from heat and pour the hot mixer on your pan with the scattered almonds. Distribute the mixer evenly. Let rest for 2-3 mins.

Scatter half a bag of chocolate chips or however much chocolate you desire.

Let the chocolate melt for a bit then spread evenly through out the pan.

Next sprinkle your chopped almonds.

Let it rest for 24 hours in a cool dry space. Break into pieces and serve
