Don Mauer's Ranch-Style Salad Dressing

 Ingredients List

  • 3/4 c Nonfat sour cream
  • 3/4 c Lowfat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c Lowfat buttermilk
  • 1 tb Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tb Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Garlic clove; mashed to a
  • -paste
  • 2 1/4 ts Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 ts Chopped chives
  • 1 1/2 ts Minced shallot
  • 1 1/2 ts Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 ts Celery seed


1. Add all the ingredients to a small stainless steel or ceramic bowl and
whisk together well. Refrigerate prepared dressing for at least one hour to
allow the flavors to blend. Makes 1 pint.

LeanTip: If the dressing is too thick, thin with water to desired
