Easy Asian Chop Salad

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 5 ounces matchstick carrots (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1-2 packages Ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup Asian dressing (more or less to taste)


1. Remove core from cabbage; chop cabbage into small pieces.

2. Place cabbage in large bowl; add matchstick carrots and mix well.

3. Crush Ramen noodles with rolling pin or other heavy object; open package, remove seasoning mix, and add to cabbage mixture. Mix well.

4. (optional) Toast sesame seeds for 1 minute in small pan over medium heat. Add seeds to cabbage mixture.

5. Add salad dressing; toss well. Refrigerate salad for 2 hours, then serve.
