- Recipe Submitted by maryjosh on 03/08/2018
Ingredients List
- 3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 batch candied walnuts
- Sea salt
Directions
Line the bottom and edges of an 8x8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips and condensed milk and eat over medium-low heat until the chocolate chips are completely melted, stirring often.
Add vanilla and stir to mix well.
Once the mixture is thick and shiny and smooth, pour it evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Scatter candied walnuts all over the surface of the fudge and press them down gently (so that they'll stick).
Scatter a light sprinkling of sea salt over everything (how much you want to use is up to you).
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is chilled and firm.
To cut the fudge, carefully lift up the parchment or foil and transfer the block of fudge to a cutting board. Peel back the parchment or foil, and then use a large knife to slice the fudge into your desired size of pieces.
