Easy Local Ribs

Ingredients List
- 3 lb Meaty country-style pork
- -spareribs, cut into pieces
- 3 tb Soy sauce
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ds Pepper
- Pineapple chunks; for
- -garnish
- Chopped green onions; for
- -garnish
Directions
SAUCE
1 c Syrup-packed pineapple
-chunks, drained
1/2 c Brown sugar; packed
1/3 c Ketchup
1/3 c Vinegar
2 tb Soy sauce
2 ts Grated fresh ginger
2 Cloves garlic; minced
Rub spareribs all over with 3 tablespoons of the soy sauce, salt and
pepper. Place ribs, meat side up, in a foil-lined baking or roasting pan
and cover with foil or baking-pan lid. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 450
degrees. Drain off fat.
Combine sauce ingredients; pour over ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
or until tender, basting occasionally.
Garnish with pineapple chunks and green onions.
