England's Christmas Bread of 1942

 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 c Water
  • 6 oz Evaporated skim milk
  • 1 tb Olive oil
  • 2 1/4 c Bread flour
  • 1 tb Sugar
  • 2 ts Sugar
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Orange peel; grated
  • 1 1/4 ts Bread machine yeast

 Directions

Put ingredients in pan in the order listed, or according to your bread
machines instructions. Select white cycle. Makes 1 pound loaf.
