Falafel

 Ingredients List

  • 1 c Dried chickpeas; soaked in
  • 5 c -Water for 24 hours
  • 1 ts Baking soda
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Finely minced onion
  • 2 tb Finely minced parsley
  • 1 ts Ground cumin
  • 1 ts Ground coriander
  • 2 Garlic cloves; finely minced
  • 1 tb Lemon juice
  • 1 ds Black pepper

 Directions

Drain the chickpeas well and place them and other ingredients in a food
processor. Process until the mixture is of the consistency of coarse corn
meal. Form into patties and fry.
