 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 cup pecans, walnuts or almonds
  • 1/4 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple per person, plus 1 additional apple for filling
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon sugar (I love this ratio from Our Best Bites)

 Directions

1. Dice the pear and apple into small cubes and mix with pecans, cranberries and raisins in a bowl

2. Add each tablespoon of cinnamon sugar slowly while mixing the ingredients to thoroughly coat the filling

3. Place filling in the refrigerator before serving

4. When ready to serve, cut the top of the washed apple a half-inch down from the top

5. Using a long knife, cut vertically into the bottom portion along the edge of the apple

6. Using a spoon or melon baller, scoop out the core within your serrated edge

7. Dice the scooped apple center into smaller pieces and add to the refrigerated filling

8. Scoop the filling into each bottom half, place the top of the apple on the plate and add cinnamon sticks for an extra fall touch.
