Fettuccine Marinara From Lhj

 Ingredients List

  • 2 tb Olive oil
  • 1/2 c Sliced onion
  • 1 ts Minced garlic
  • 1/4 ts Crushed red pepper
  • 4 oz Smoked ham; diced
  • 1 c Frozen peas
  • 14 oz Marinara sauce; jar
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/4 ts Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 lb Fettuccine or spaghetti;
  • -cooked according to package
  • -directions
  • 1/4 c Chopped fresh flat-leaf
  • -parsley

 Directions

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and
cook for 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, red pepper and ham; cook 2 minutes
more. Add peas and marinara sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper.

2. Toss sauce with hot pasta and parsley in a serving bowl.
