Fillipino Fried Rice

  • 2 c Rice; steamed
  • 1/2 lb Bacon; fried crisp
  • 1 sm Green bell pepper; diced
  • 1 Medium onion; diced
  • 1 Small cabbage; shredded
  • 2 Cloves garlic; chopped
  • 3 Carrots; slivered
  • Leftover pork or beef roast;
  • -diced in bite size chunks
  • 1/2 c Soy sauce
  • 1 c Frozen green peas; thawed

 Directions

In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove, leaving 1 to 2 T. of bacon
grease. Stir fry all vegetables until crisp or desired texture. Add meat
and crumbled bacon. Mix well. Add steamed rice. Thoroughly mix; add soy
sauce and peas and mix.
