Four Fruit Ice Cream

 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1/8 ts Salt
  • 1 cn (small) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 pt Whipping cream; not whipped
  • 1 qt Homogenized milk
  • 1 cn (flat can) crushed
  • -pineapple; undrained
  • 2 lg Bananas; crushed in
  • -blender
  • 2 Oranges; juice of
  • 2 Lemons; juice of
  • 1 Lemon rind; grated
  • -(optional)


Mix sugar, salt, milk, evaporated milk and cream in a one gallon container
of ice cream maker. Freeze according to maker's direction to the soft
stage. Remove top; add crushed fruits and fruit juices; add grated rind, if
desired. Finish freezing until firm. Remove the dasher and pack container;
drain off water and repack with ice. Let stand until frozen hard. Note: If
needed, homogenized milk can be added to finish filling container to the
bottom of the top blade of the dasher.
