Ingredients List
- 15 oz Kidney Beans; Drained
- 4 tb Flour
- 1 tb Vegetable Oil
- 1/3 c Water
- 1 Clove Garlic; Crushed
- 1/4 ts Chili Powder
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- Vegetable Oil; For Frying
- Grated Cheddar Cheese;
- -Optional
Directions
Combine well-drained beans, flour, 1 tbsp oil, water, garlic, chili powder,
salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Heat skillet;
brush with oil. Spoon 1/4 cup batter at a time, spreading into a circle
about 4" in diameter. Cook over medium heat until brown on bottom and dry
on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, if desired. Remove from griddle. Serve
warm.
