French Toast Cups Recipe

 Ingredients List

  • Muffins:
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup cold Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

 Directions

1. Cut bread into 1/2”³ cubes.

2. Coat muffin pan with butter.

3. Divide bread between all 12 muffin cups (I used about 2 slices per muffin)

4. Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until blended.

5. Slowly add about 1 1/2 oz of liquid over bread in each cup.

6. I use a baster to make this easy.

7. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

8. Preheat oven to 350.

9. Combine butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.

10. Mix until you have a well blended crumbs.

11. Cover the muffins evenly with this topping.

12. Bake for 25 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

13. Let cool for 10 minutes.
