Fried Clams
Ingredients List
- 1/3 c All-purpose flour
- 1/4 ts Salt
- Egg
- 1/4 c Milk*
- 1 1/3 c Finely ground soda crackers,
- (about 36 crackers)
- 40 Drained shucked small clams
- Vegetable oil for deep
- -frying
- Lemon wedges
Directions
In shallow bowl, combine flour and salt. In separate bowl, beat egg with
milk. Place cracker crumbs in third bowl. Dip each clam into flour
mixture, then into egg mixture; dredge lightly with cracker crumbs.
