Garbanzos and Couscous

 Ingredients List

  • 1 sm Onion -- chopped
  • 3 md Carrots -- chopped
  • 1 cn Tomatoes, Canned -- diced,
  • 14 1/2 oz Ca
  • 1 cn Garbanzo Beans, Canned -- 15
  • oz Can
  • 1 c Chicken Broth -- reduced
  • Sodium
  • 3 cl Garlic -- minced
  • 1/4 ts Nutmeg
  • 1/4 ts Cinnamon
  • 1 ts Cumin
  • 1/2 ts Turmeric
  • 1/4 ts Cayenne
  • 1 1/2 c Couscous, Cooked

 Directions

Throw everything in the pot and mix it up. (no couscous though]. Cover;
cook on low 8-10 hours {High:3-4 hours}. Add cooked couscous during last
15 minutes of cooking. 6 to 8 servings.
