German Cole Slaw

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lg Head cabbage; shredded
  • 1 lg Bell pepper; chopped
  • 1 lg Onion; chopped
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 c Vinegar
  • 1 c Vegetable oil
  • 1 tb Salt
  • Celery seed
  • Mustard seed

 Directions

Cover first 3 ingredients with sugar & stir. Meanwhile, heat to boiling the
vinegar, oil & salt. Add to taste celery & mustard seed, about 1 teaspoon
each. Pour over slaw & let stand 4 hours.
