German Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients List
- 1 1/2 lb Ground beef
- 4 sl Bacon, cut
- -lengthwise
- 1 lg Onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 oz Tomato sauce
- 1 28 oz Can tomatoes,
- -drained, chpd
- Juice reserved
- 1/3 c Sugar
- 1/2 lb Elbow spaghetti, cooked
- (macaroni?)
Directions
Brown and drain hamburger. Lightly cook bacon; retain fat and cook onions
until transparent. Salt and pepper hamburger to taste. Add bacon, onion,
tomatoes and juice, tomato sauce, and sugar to hamburger. Simmer 30
minutes. Add cooked spaghetti. Put into large, greased casserole and bake 1
hour at 350 degrees.
