- 3/4 c Shortening
- 1 c Sugar
- 1/4 c Molasses
- 1 Egg
- 2 c Flour
- 2 ts Baking soda
- 1 ts Cinnamon
- 1 ts Ground cloves
- 1 ts Ground ginger
- Granulated sugar
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar; add molasses and egg. Beat well. Add sifted dry
ingredients; mix well. Roll into small balls, then roll into granulated
sugar. Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 15
minutes.
