Graham Cracker Cake #1

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 lb Butter
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 4 lg Eggs; Separated
  • 1 1/2 c Buttermilk
  • 1 lb Graham Cracker Crumbs

 Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, then graham crackers and
buttermilk, then 1/2 c or more chopped nut meats (optional). Last, fold in
beaten egg whites. Bake at 325 deg. Grease and flour pans. If using tube or
spring form pan, bake 1 hour. If using 2 9 inch cake pans, bake 45 minutes.
Frost with Mock Whipped Cream Frosting.
