- 1 oz. glutinous rice
- 1 oz. black rice
- 1/2 oz. Job”™s tears
- 1/2 oz. millet
- 1/2 oz. white kidney bean (Navy bean)
- 1/2 oz. azuki bean (Asian variety of small, red bean)

- 1/2 oz. lily bulb (dried)
- 1 oz. Chinese date (small and dried)
Directions
Soak the Job”™s tears, white kidney beans, peanuts, and dried lily bulb for 2 hours in advance.
Put all the ingredients together with 48 oz. of water in the pressure cooker. Cook in pressure mode for 12~15 minutes.
If a pressure cooker is unavailable, cook with strong heat to a boil, turn to low heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Leave a gap between the pot edge and cover to prevent the boiling congee from blowing out.
Serve hot ,optionally with a sweetening like sugar. The best sweetening is the traditional sweet osmanthus sauce which has a charming smell and tastes a little salty along with the sweetness.
