Grannys on the Grill

 Ingredients List

  • 4 md Granny Smith apples;
  • -unpeeled, sliced
  • 1/3 c Golden raisins
  • 1 tb Canola oil; plus 1 teaspoon
  • 1 tb Brown sugar; plus 1 teaspoon


Cut 4 8 inch pieces of aluminum foil. Prepare the apples and place each
sliced apple on a square of foil. Sprinkle raisins, oil, and sugar over
each apple. Fold the foil into a package. Prepare an outside grill with an
oiled rack set 6 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat
to medium. Grill the packets for about 30 minutes until the apples are
tender. Remove from the foil and serve.
