Green Chili Spoon Bread

 Ingredients List

  • 1 c Water
  • 1 tb Margarine
  • 1 1/2 ts Sugar
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 2/3 c Yellow Cornmeal
  • 2 Eggs; Well Beaten
  • 4 oz Old El Paso Chopped Green
  • -Chilies; Well Drained
  • 1/2 c Skim Milk

 Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Bring water, margarine, sugar and salt to a boil in a
saucepan. Slowly add cornmeal, whisking constantly. Bring to simmering.
Remove from heat. Quickly whisk in milk, eggs and green chilies. Pour into
5 cup souffle dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake for 30 minutes
until golden brown.
