Ham and Cheese Biscuits

 Ingredients List

  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 c Cooked ham; low-sodium, 96%
  • -fat-free, about 1/2 pound,
  • -chopped
  • 2 c All-purpose flour
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese; extra-sharp,
  • -about 4 ounces, shredded
  • 2 ts Baking powder
  • 1 ds Cayenne pepper; ground
  • 1 c Lowfat 1% milk

 Directions

Coat a medium-size nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium
heat until hot. Add ham; saute 3 minutes. Combine ham, flour, and next 3
ingredients in a bowl. Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are
moistened.

Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet coated with cooking
spray. Bake at 400øF for 22 minutes.
