Ham and Chicken Au Gratin

Ingredients List
- 1/3 c Butter
- 1/8 ts Nutmeg
- 2/3 c Onions; chopped
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- 1/3 c Flour
- 3 c Ham; cooked, diced
- 3 c Milk
- 2 c Chicken; cooked, diced
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 1 c Sharp cheddar cheese; cut up
- 2 c Rice; cooked
- 1/2 c Buttered fresh breadcrumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350~. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; saute onions
til tender. Stir in flour; slowly add milk, stirring constantly til
thickened. Combine with remaining ingredients except crumbs in casserole.
Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350~ for 30 to 35 minutes or til brown.
Makes 4-6 servings.
