Ham 'N' Cheese Quiche

Ingredients List
- 1 9-inch pastry shell
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced fully cooked ham (or 6 ounces thick cut bacon, cut into narrow strips)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- heavy-duty foil
Directions
1. Line pastry shells with heavy-duty foil. Bake at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes longer.
2) In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour into shells. Cover the edges with the foil and bake at 400 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before cutting.
