Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza

 Ingredients List

  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce, divided
  • Pizza dough
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded (about 2 cups)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pineapple, diced
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped


1. Set a pizza stone on the bottom rack of the oven and preheat the oven to 450°.
2. In a medium bowl combine ¼ cup of BBQ sauce and shredded chicken. Toss well to coat.
3. Stretch the pizza dough to a 12-inch round and transfer to a cornmeal-dusted pizza peel or parchment paper.
4. Spread a thin layer of sauce over the pizza dough leaving a half inch border around the edge. Evenly distribute chicken mixture over the pizza dough, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and pineapple chunks.
5. Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the bottom is crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
6. Let pizza cool for 5 minutes, sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Slice and serve.
