Herbed Honey Lime Sauce
Ingredients List
- 1/2 c Minced onion
- 1 tb Olive oil
- 1 c Chicken broth; OR dry white
- -wine
- 1/4 c Honey
- 1/4 c Lime juice
- 2 ts Dry mustard
- 1 ts Fresh rosemary; OR 1/4 tsp
- -dried, crushed rosemary
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 ds Pepper
- 1 tb Cornstarch
- 1 tb Water
Directions
In a saucepan saute onion in olive oil til tender. Stir in broth or wine,
salt and pepper; bring to boil. Reduce heat. Combine cornstarch and water;
stir into sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat til thickened. Serve over
turkey, chicken, fish or pork. Cover and refrigerate. Makes about 1 1/2
cups.
