Herbed Roasted Chicken
Ingredients List
- 2 chicken legs (about 1 1/2 lbs)
- 1 oz. rosemary, fresh; or 1 tsp. dried
- 10 oz. potato
- to taste salt
- to taste grated black pepper (preferably freshly grated)
Directions
Flush the chicken legs to remove the blood. Absorb the water on the surface of the chicken with kitchen paper. Rub the salt and pepper onto the surface of the chicken.
Coarsely chop the potato, and finely chop the rosemary. Spread the rosemary on the chicken and potato.
Put the potato in a roasting pan, and then place the chicken legs on the top. Put the roasting pan into the preheated oven. Roast the chicken and potato at 200 degrees centigrade for 10 minutes, and then with 180 degrees centigrade for 50 minutes.
