Honey Hoisin Chicken Sandwiches in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients List
- 4-6 chicken breast, skinless & boneless
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup Holland House Sake Cooking Wine or white wine
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- Sandwiches
- Sesame Seed Buns
- Lettuce - we used mixed greens
- Bean Sprouts
Directions
1. Place chicken in slow cooker
2. Combine all sauce ingredients and pour over chicken
3. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low
Sandwiches
4. Allow chicken to set 10-15 minutes to cool a bit, then shred using 2 forks, return to slow cooker or add sauce to the chicken
5. Add lettuce to bottom of bun, add chicken and bean sprouts

If you are using a Power Cooker, increase liquid to 1/2 cup each. Recipe adapted from Eat at Home
