Hot Spiced Claret
Ingredients List
- 2 tb Sugar
- 2 tb Lemon juice
- 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
- 1/2 c Hot water
- 1 Bottle
- Claret wine - 4/5-qt.
Directions
In slow-cooking pot, combine sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and
water. Stir until well blended. Pour in wine. Cover pot; heat on low 2
to 2 1/2 hours. Serve hot from the pot.
