Hough Kidney Soup

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lb Beef shank meat
  • 1/2 lb Beef kidney
  • 184 g Quick-cooking barley
  • 4 Beef bouillon cubes; (4 to
  • -6)
  • 3 1/2 pt Water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 Directions

Put all ingredients in a pot.

Bring to a rolling boil on high heat.

Turn heat to low, simmer for 2 hours.

Cool, blenderize until smooth.

Reheat and serve.
