Hum-Mouse Dip

 Ingredients List

  • 6 tb Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 c Tahini (sesame paste)
  • 3 Cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 15 oz. can chickpeas,
  • Drained & reserved
  • 1/4 c Chopped parsley, optional


In blender or food processor, blend lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt,
cayenne and 1/4 cup chickpea liquid until smooth. Add chickpeas, blending
to a rough consistency. If smoother or thinner texture is desired, add more
chickpea liquid and blend accordingly. Stir in parsley, if desired. *From
