Iowa Pea Salad
Ingredients List
- 1 pk Peas frozen 16 oz
- 4 Cheese, cheddar
- Cut in squares
- 1/4 c Pickle juice sweet variety
- 2 Eggs, hard boiled
- 3/8 c Mayonnaise
- 1/4 ts -Salt or to taste
Directions
Cook the peas for a maximum of three minutes and cool and drain. Combine
the peas, cheese, pickles, eggs and salt. Stir in the mayonnaise. (The
original recipe called for fresh peas originally but they're hard to get
now even when they're in season.)
