Jim's Granola
Ingredients List
- 1 c Unpopped AM Popcorn
- 4 c AM Oat Flakes
- 1 c AM Wheat Flakes
- 1 c AM Barley Flakes
- 2 c AM Cracked Wheat
- -OR- 7 Grain Cereal
- 2 c Coconut (optional)
- 1 c AM Sunflower Seeds
- 1 c Peanuts
- 1 c AM Sesame Seeds
- -- (Mechanically Hulled)
- 1 c -to...
- 2 c Honey or other sweetener
- 1/2 c AM Unrefined Vegetable Oil
- 1 tb Mapleine or vanilla
- -OR- other flavor
Directions
OPTIONAL
1 c Raisins
1 c Dates, chopped
1 c Dried apricots, chopped
1/2 c Dried pineapple, chopped
1/2 c Dried papaya, chopped
1 c Almonds, chopped
1 c Pecans, chopped
1 pk Banana chips
Pop popcorn. Combine all dry ingredients. Combine honey, oil, and
flavoring in a separate bowl. Stir honey mixture into dry ingredients.
Bake in non-preheated oven at 350 F. for 45 minutes, stirring every 15
minutes. Remove from oven; stir in fruit. Cool.
