Kate's Butterscotch Caramels

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Corn syrup
  • 1/2 Stick butter
  • 1 tb Vinegar
  • 1/8 ts Soda
  • Chopped nuts


Boil to hard-ball stage all ingredients except nuts. Stir to keep from
burning. Cool. Add nuts and pour onto greased platter. Cut into squares.
