King's Hawaiian Bread Stuffing

Ingredients List
- 8 cups KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread cut into 1 inch cubes (let dry out for at least a day in bowl with paper towel cover)
- 4 cups Cornbread stuffing
- 1 pound Portuguese sausage cut into 1/4
- 1 pound Pork sausage roll
- 1 Onion, diced
- 5 stalks Celery, chopped
- 2 Apples, cored and cubed
- 2 1/2 cups Chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Fry Portuguese Sausage, pork sausage, onions, celery till browned (reserve oil in pan)
Step 2
Add apples cook for 3 minutes
Step 3
Add Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread and cornbread, mix well
Step 4
Add chicken broth, mix well
Step 5
Add salt and pepper to taste, mix well
Step 6
Put stuffing into 9x13 pan greased with butter into 325 degree oven
Step 7
Bonus Option: Add chopped mac nuts on top of the stuffing for some extra flavor!
Step 8
Bake for 35 minutes or until top layer forms a crust
