Kit Anderson's Chipotle Bbq Sauce

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 md Onion; minced
  • 4 Cloves garlic; minced
  • 1 tb Bacon fat
  • 28 fl Catsup
  • 8 Chipotles en adobo; minced
  • 2 tb Good chile powder; heaping
  • 2 ts Cumin
  • 2 ts Thyme
  • 6 fl Amber beer
  • 1/2 c Cider vinegar
  • 2 tb Prepared mustard
  • 1 tb Worcestershire
  • 1 tb Nuoc mam
  • 1/4 c Bourbon
  • 1/2 tb Cocoa
  • Black pepper; to taste

 Directions

Saute onions and garlic on med high heat until soft. Add everything else.
Simmer uncovered until thick.
