 Ingredients List

  • 2 c Sugar
  • 2 Sticks butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 c Buttermilk
  • 2 ts Baking soda
  • 5 ts Baking powder
  • 6 c Flour
  • 4 ts Vanilla
  • 1 ds Salt


Mix together, cool until chilled, Kringla are traditionally shaped into
figure 8's, are easier to shape when cool, bake at 475 for 5 minutes. In my
family, we always buttered them and devoured them.
