Lattice Crust

 Ingredients List

  • 1 1/4 c All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 ts Salt
  • 1/3 c Shortening
  • 1 Egg; beaten
  • 2 tb Cold water


Mix flour and salt; cut in shortening until pieces are size of small peas.
Combine egg and cold water; sprinkle over flour mixture, 1 tablespoon at at
time. Gently toss with fork. Repeat until all is moistened. Form into a
ball. Roll on a lightly floured surface to 1 10x9-3/4 inch rectangle. Cut
into thirteen 10x3/4-inch strips.
