Ingredients List
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts-or homemade (or any of the alternatives mentioned above)
- leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner ”“ cranberry sauce, turkey, stuffing, gravy-and anything else you want to toss in
- 1 beaten egg
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees (you may need to adjust if using something other than pie crust).
2. Cut out circles from pie crust using a bowl or something similar. I used a tupperware bowl. You could make smaller little bite size ones by using a glass.
3. Layer on all the ingredients you wish to one pie crust. We started with a little cranberry sauce, then stuffing and turkey. We saved the gravy to pour on the outside or dip in, but you could even drizzle it on the inside too.
4. Top with a second pie crust, then seal the edges by pressing around the edges with a fork.
5. Brush the top of the crust with the egg wash.
6. Bake until golden brown.
7. If you decide to freeze, wait until they are cooled and place in a freezer bag.
8. I think I want to try them in little bite sized pies for dipping in gravy or cranberry sauce- wouldn”™t that be fun?
9. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
