Light Rye

  • 3/4 c Rye Flour; (Or Sub Oat
  • -Flour)
  • 2 c Bread Flour; Or All Purpose
  • -Flou
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 1/2 tb Caraway Seed
  • 1 tb Malt Syrup; or molasses
  • 1 tb Oil
  • 1 c Water
  • 1 1/2 ts Dry yeast


Note: to make a dense, fairly heavy loaf, increase the rye flour to 1 cup.
