Linguini with Tomato-Basil Sauce

Ingredients List
- 4 Cloves garlic -- peeled and
- Minced
- 3 tb Olive oil
- 3 c Italian plum tomatoes --
- Coarsely chopped
- Salt and pepper -- to taste
- 18 oz Linguini -- or other thin
- Pasta
- 1 bn Fresh basil leaves -- no
- Stems, chopped
- 12 tb Parmesan cheese -- freshly
- Grated
Directions
Saute garlic in olive oil until golden, but not brown. Add tomatoes, salt
and pepper and simmer over med. heat for 20 min.
Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package. When sauce is done
simmering, remove from heat and stir in basil. Toss pasta with sauce and
serve. Top with cheese.
