Loreta Youngs' Orange Cups

 Ingredients List

  • 1 1/2 tb Butter, melted
  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • 1 tb Orange peel, grated
  • 2 Egg yolks, beaten
  • 3 tb Enriched flour
  • 1 ds Salt
  • 1/3 c Orange juice
  • 1 c Milk
  • 2 Egg whites, beaten stiff


Cream together melted butter, sugar, and organge peel. Add beaten egg
yolks. Add flour and salt alternately with milk and orange juice. Beat
well. Fold beaten egg whites into mixture. Pour into greased custard
cups. Bake in a pan containing 1" hot water in 350 oven for 45
