Lower Fat Guacamole

 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 c Canned green peas; rinsed
  • -with cool water for 2
  • -minutes and drained
  • 2 tb Low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 tb Lemon juice
  • 1/4 md Avocado; peeled, pitted,
  • -slightly mashed
  • 1/2 c Tomato; chopped
  • 1/4 c Onion; finely chopped
  • 1 tb Salsa
  • 1/4 ts Garlic salt
  • 1/4 ts Chili powder

 Directions

In a food processor, blend peas, mayonnaise and lemon juice until ultra-
smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and
chill for at least 1 hour. Season to taste. Serve with baked tortilla
chips. Makes 2 cups.
