Lower Fat Guacamole
Ingredients List
- 1/2 c Canned green peas; rinsed
- -with cool water for 2
- -minutes and drained
- 2 tb Low-fat mayonnaise
- 1 tb Lemon juice
- 1/4 md Avocado; peeled, pitted,
- -slightly mashed
- 1/2 c Tomato; chopped
- 1/4 c Onion; finely chopped
- 1 tb Salsa
- 1/4 ts Garlic salt
- 1/4 ts Chili powder
Directions
In a food processor, blend peas, mayonnaise and lemon juice until ultra-
smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and
chill for at least 1 hour. Season to taste. Serve with baked tortilla
chips. Makes 2 cups.
