Side Pannel
Maple Miso Tempeh
Ingredients List
- 1 package plain tempeh
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 0.5 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
1. This recipe is pretty simple: mix, marinate and bake.
2. Miso paste has a thick consistency, so mix two tablespoons of water and a tablespoon of miso paste with a whisk or a fork. Add a tablespoon of maple syrup and about half a tablespoon of olive oil and mix well.
3. Cut the tempeh into slices about 0.5 centimeter thickness then marinate for at least a few hours in the fridge, shaking the container once to coat the tempeh slices.
4. Preheat the oven to 375F and spread the marinated tempeh on parchment paper or a silpat baking mat. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
5. The tempeh will come out crispy, browned and ohhhh soooo tasty!
