Mickey Rooney's Creamy Fruit Dessert

 Ingredients List

  • FRUITS
  • 4 Pineapple rings, finely
  • Chopped
  • 1 Apple, chopped
  • 1 Pear, chopped
  • 1 Orange; peeled, cut into
  • sm Pieces
  • LIQUIDS
  • 1 c Pineapple juice
  • 1 c Orange juice
  • 2 c Water and the rind of 1,
  • Orange
  • 4 tb Cornstarch
  • Water
  • 1/2 pt Heavy cream

 Directions

Combine juices and place in a saucepan; bring liquid to a boil. Add
water to cornstarch until it makes a paste. Stir paste into juices.
Cook until clear. Cool. Add chopped fruits. Fold in heavy cream,
whipped stiff, into fruit mixture. Chill before serving.
