Molasses Marinade for Chicken or Pork

 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 c Molasses; plus 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tb Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tb Reduced-calorie ketchup
  • 1 tb Vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 ts Dried crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 ts Ground cumin
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 2 Cloves garlic; minced


Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Use to marinate chicken
or pork. Yield: 3/4 cup
