Monterey Jack Bread
Ingredients List
- 1 Loaf French bread; cut in
- -half lengthwise
- 1/2 c Butter
- Garlic salt to taste
- 1 cn (3-oz) chopped green
- -chilies; drained
- 1/4 lb Monterey Jack cheese; grated
- 1/2 c Mayonnaise
Directions
Preheat oven to 400ø. Melt butter in a saucepan and add garbc salt and
green chilies. Mix the cheese and mayonnaise together. Spread the butter
mixture on the 2 lengths of bread, then spread with the cheese and
mayonnaise mixture. Place on a cookie sheet and bake, uncovered, for 20
minutes. Slice into serving pieces. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
