Mushroom and Onion Combo

 Ingredients List

  • 12 c Mushrooms, halved (about
  • -2 lbs.)
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c Chopped fresh basil ( or
  • 4 tsp. dried)
  • 1 tb Butter, melted
  • 1 tb Balsamic or red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 ts Each salt and pepper


In bowl, toss together mushrooms, onion, basil, butter, vinegar, salt and
pepper. Arrange on large piece of double-thickness heavy-duty foil; fold
up sides and seal tightly to form packet.
